12 Days combined safari to Kenya and Tanzania visiting Masai Mara and Serengeti national park respectively for a real African wildlife safari with lots of game viewing. 12 Days Kenya-Tanzania Combined Wildlife Safari to Nairobi, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Amboseli, Arusha, Lake Manyara, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater.
Transfer to Murchison Falls: Wake up, have breakfast and meet your safari driver to start your 10 days Uganda & Kenya safari. Transfer to Murchison falls national park as early as 7 am with en-route stop at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a rhino trekking experience before you proceed to the park. It will take 2-3 hours at lunchtime.
Top of the falls experience: You will enter through the Kichumbanyobo gate, drive through Budongo forest and proceed to the top of the falls where you will experience the thunderous falls at a closer view. Retreat from the activity and meet your guide to drive to your accommodation to rest. Dinner will be served and overnight stay at Paraa Safari Lodge for luxury/Murchison River lodge for mid-range/Heritage Safari lodge for the budget option
Game Drive: After your early breakfast, meet your guide to start a game drive and explore the various animals in the park like elephants, giraffes, lions, Uganda kobs among others.
Boat Cruise: Later afternoon, you will go for a boat cruise on the park’s main tourist attraction the unique Murchison Falls on River Nile where you will enjoy the views of the falls at quite a distance. While on the cruise, expect to see some of the animals like the hippos, crocodiles along the sandbank. Other land animals like buffaloes, elephants can also be spotted on the river banks. After viewing the falls, return to your guide and drive back to your lodge with en-route game drive. Dinner and overnight at lodge as above
Transfer to Kibale: You will wake up very early, prepare for an early transfer to Kibale National park. It’s quite a long drive so depart Murchison by 7 am after your breakfast. It’s a 7-8 hours’ drive with en-route lunch. Arrive in Fort portal town late afternoon and connect to your accommodation to rest. Dinner and overnight stay at Isunga lodge for budget/Chimpanzee guesthouse for mid-range/Kyaninga lodge for luxury
Depart to Lake Nakuru. You will spend the afternoon on a game drive on the base of the Rift Valley where you can anticipate seeing millions of flamingos as they gather to the shores to feed. This is a sight not to be missed. Overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge (FB)
After breakfast, return back to Nairobi. Have lunch at Carnivore restaurant where you will enjoy the meal of game meats and exotic fare at. After lunch proceed to Amboseli National Park, home to the proud Masai tribe and the told and retold ever-lasting snows of Mt. Kilimanjaro. A game drive in this park will enable you to meet lion, giraffe, cheetah and Elephant. Overnight at Amboseli Serena Lodge (luxury) Sopa lodge (mid range/budget). (Full board)

Today you will connect to the Namanga border after clearing with the immigration customs. Continue to Lake Manyara National Park where herds of baboons are often seen walking by the succulent forest on the lakeside. This park is most prominent for its tree-climbing lion that can be spotted draped over branches of acacia trees. Enjoy an afternoon game drive after lunch. After breakfast, depart to the Serengeti National Park. You will pass via Olduvai Gorge, known as the “land of humanity’ for the leavings of prehistoric inhabitants that were met there. Arrive at your lodge in the Serengeti in time for lunch before going for an afternoon game drive. Overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge (full board)
This morning after breakfast, continue on a morning game drives through the exciting scenery of the Serengeti. Back to the lodge for lunch. Afternoon game, dinner and overnight as above
You will drive to the fabled Ngorongoro Crater with its truly breathtaking views. Continue round the rim, where a crew of guides, a ranger and Masai and donkeys will be waiting. Begin a marvelous walk in this pristine Masai land. The track takes you part way around the rim of the crater through open woodland and acacia forests.
To your right are the remarkably spectacular views of the crater floor below, and to your left are the endless plains of the Serengeti. A very simple camp is set in a remote location where one of the important rivers off the highland volcanoes enters the crater. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro wildlife lodge (FB)
Early morning game drive (with a picnic lunch) inside the Ngorongoro Crater You can expect to see lions, elephants, Zebras, Hippos, Flamingos, Jackals, Rhinos Antelopes and many birds. The birds seen here include eagle, vulture, and flamingos in the Crater Lake, stork, bats, giant vulture, sacred ibis, kori bustard, blacksmith plover, long necked heron and the cattle eagle. Enjoy breakfast, after which you will transfer back to Arusha. Upon arrival in Arusha/Nairobi you will have lunch, dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Yes, the safari is family-friendly. However, some activities (like hiking) may be better suited for children over a certain age. Please check with us for any specific requirements.
Game drives are relatively easy, with minimal walking. The Bisoke hike in Volcanoes National Park is moderate to challenging, so it is recommended for those with a reasonable level of fitness.
Wi-Fi and mobile network coverage are available at most lodges, but may be limited in remote areas. It’s advisable to inform family or friends of your itinerary as signal can be intermittent.
While sightings are frequent, wildlife is unpredictable, and it’s not guaranteed to see all the Big Five during the safari. Our experienced guides will do their best to ensure you have an excellent wildlife experience.
